ZIMBABWE's annual inflation declined to 0.54% on the October rate of 0.59% as domestic demand continues to decrease, according to ZimStat.

The year on year food and non alcoholic beverages inflation stood at -1.51% whilst the non-food inflation rate was at 1.58%.

The month on month inflation rate gained 0.10% on the October rate of -0.01% to 0.09% as retailers started stocking up for the festive season through imports.

The month on month Food and non-alcoholic beverages inflation declined by 0.64% to -0.60% 0.64%.

The CPI for the month ending November 2013 stood at 100.41 compared to 100.32 in October 2013 and 99.87 in November 2012.
